It has been a century since Robert D. Adams started traveling our Utah communities with his camera, dark room tent, and wagon. Then his son Rex Adams, known everywhere as the original “Chickenman” took the reins for the next 60 years! In 1980, after extensive training from the Chickenman, his son Cory Adams has continued the family legacy of quality portraits with the assistance of his family and staff.
Our prices are significantly lower than our competitor. We believe that every child should receive school pictures - our prices reflect that. Because we do not have to print our portraits out of state, all of the money stays right here in our community. We give back a portion of every package sold to the school. With great prices, more can afford to buy which means more return for the school. One of the most common complaints we hear from new clients is they are sick of their school picture company not doing what they say they will do. We will.
Our photographers are highly trained portrait photographers, not seasonal employees. All printing, designing and retouching is done in our local lab. Nothing is sent out, allowing us to oversee every step in making a beautiful portrait. Each photographer has been trained by the Chicken! The art of the Chicken is not easy to master, but rest assured your students and staff will smile. Time is precious in your schools. We plan for your size of classes and school so that little to no time is spent waiting in lines on picture day. Because our lab is local, printing and packaging is quickly finished, allowing delivery usually in 2 to 3 weeks.
